Win a Google Chromecast with JNB Aerials
A few weeks ago we had a new addition to our home tech when I bought Ian a Google Chromecast for his birthday. For those of you who are scratching your heads right now, put simply, this is a little device which you plug into the HDMI slot on your TV and then it allows you to stream content from your laptop, tablet or even phone, direct to your television. Of course this means that you can easily show off your photos and home videos, or watch Netflix simply and easily.
We've been using our Chromecast so I can watch Netflix on my many pregnancy-induced early nights (current favourites are Pretty Little Liars and Daredevil) and we had just been thinking that we might find a second Chromecast useful for our downstairs TV when the team at JNB Aerials got in touch to see if we might like to give away one of these handy little devices. JNB Aerials are a local firm for us, based in Salford and they offer a range of audio-visual services throughout our area.
The Chromecast is very simple to connect, you plug it into your TV, download the Chromecast app, connect to it using WiFi and you're away. Easy peasy and a fantastic interim solution if you're considering an upgrade to a Smart TV but can't quite justify the expense at the moment.
