New Soothers from Tommee Tippee
A couple of weeks ago I attended The Baby Show at the ExCel Centre in London. Even though Little Miss is getting a little older now (eighteen months tomorrow!) I still enjoy seeing all of the brand new baby products available and meeting up with other bloggers and some of my favourite brands.
This time I was invited to attend the launch of Tommee Tippee's new range of soothers. Now, cards on the table, neither of my children have ever used a soother. Bud just didn't need one and LM rejected them in favour of her first two fingers but, still, so many friends' children and nieces and nephews have relied on dummies so I think I know my stuff!
Tommee Tippee have redesigned their popular range of soothers following watch ing mums shop for soothers. They discovered that a third of mums buy soothers on impulse in store, and that parents often have to try a few different soothers before finding one that their child will accept.
With this in mind Tommee Tippee have launched a four new ranges of soothers - Air. Night Time, Fun and Anytime - with a larger, longer, flatter teat (more like a bottle's) which, in studies, has been accepted first time by more babies (68% compared to 43% for the old style design, in and independent product trial carried out in February 2013, by Swift Research). Soothers are available in two age ranges - 0-6 and 6-18 months.
Air - Holes in the shield encourage improved air flow between the shield and baby’s delicate skin to help minimise the risk of irritation.
Night Time - Traditional shield style but with a glow in the dark handle, to make replacing it at night time much easier!
Fun - Traditional shield style with bright and colourful, and very fun, designs.
Anytime - The traditional shield style, with modern, understated designs.
I really think that there is a soother for every child who needs one in the new range, the glow in the dark night time soothers sound especially great!
The Tommee Tippee Soothers range is priced at £4:79 for a pack of two and is available nationwide in Boots, Tesco and Asda.
Disclosure: I met with Tommee Tippee at The Baby Show and they supplied me with a goodiie bag, I have not been asked to write this post, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
