It's exactly the sort of book my twelve year old niece loves to read and, I can honestly say that, after reading this one I'd quite like to have a look at the earlier books too! Louise Rennison's 'Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging' made it to stage and big screen and I can definitely imagine this series going the same way. I'd have no problem with Little Miss reading these when she is in her early teens. It's a great, easy to read novel just perfect for the age group.
