Monday 8/7/13 - Sunday 14/7/13 Days 250-256 of Project 365
Monday #250 Playhouse - We played in the garden after Daddy came home from work today and we realised that the window is the perfect height for Little Miss to pull herself up at. She thought she was very clever and I love her expression in this photo.
Tuesday #251 Cyberman - I'm really scared of the Cybermen from Doctor Who. Honestly. So when I was confronted by one at the Amazon Christmas in July event on a very long day in London today I ran away like a girl. The Cyberman realised I was scared and followed me! It wasn't one of my finest moments as I basically hid from him.
Wednesday #252 Neal's Yard - Neal's Yard Remedies is probably my favourite skincare brand, their values really speak to what I look for in my products and I buy lots from there. I was delighted to attend a blogger's evening at their Manchester store tonight where we were well and truly spoiled. I had a lovely back and shoulder massage and enjoyed the company of some of my favourite local bloggers and it was so much fun.
Thursday #253 Relaxing - Little Miss has been struggling with the heat a little this week, she loved relaxing in the cushion when we called into toddlers this week.
Friday #254 Beans - Our garden has gone insane in the heat and we have veggies growing all over the place, I snapped a few shots of the blooms this evening as the children played. I've called this photo beans but I suspect these are actually pea flowers!
Saturday #255 Slide - We went to the church Summer Fair today and had a lovely time exploring the stalls, at one of them I snapped up four vintage Babycham glasses for the bargain price of £2. I'm very pleased with them. Bud had his first go on an inflatable slide and I was so surprised to see how quickly he scooted to the top ready to throw himself over and slide down.
Sunday #256 BBQ - We had a big family barbecue this afternoon with lots of yummy food and drink. We had the paddling pool out for Bud and his Cousins and they had a fantastic time splashing and playing in the heat, it really was the perfect way for them to cool down. It was a lovely afternoon and evening.
